Healthy Schools

Healthy School Award

The school has been awarded the Healthy Schools award for promoting personal, social and health education, healthy eating, physical activity and emotional health and well-being.

School Games Award

Silver School Games Award

The School Games Mark is a Government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community.

FMSIS

FMSIS (Financial Management Standards in Schools)

This was a mandatory requirement to provide assurance that schools have adequate arrangements in place to manage their resources effectively. The Standard is awarded TO the school for good financial management practice.
This was replaced by SFVS (Schools Financial Value Standard In Schools) which the school also holds.

Activemark

We were awarded the Activemark for providing high-quality delivery of the National Sport Strategy.

GASP - Goole Area Schools Partnership

We are members of GASP, (Goole Area Schools Partnerships), which enables like minded schools to share best practice and resources.

Operation Encompass 

Operation Encompass enables us as a school to be aware and support families that may have had emergency intervention from outside agencies, outside of school hours. 

We are currently working towards:

We are working towards the Eco-Schools Award and this is being led by our Eco-club. The award aims to empower children to drive change and improve their environmental awareness.

In our Rubies class they are working towards the Curiosity Approach which means providing an environment and resources which foster their creativity and imagination.
