Rubies
Miss James is the Rubies class teacher. Mrs Marshall and Mrs Hinchey also work with the Rubies to support the children in the class.
We believe that children work best when they are not under pressure and so all we ask is that they try their best in all they do!
Homework
In Rubies, we are expected to always:
- Read at least 3 times a week (we are working towards our whole school reading target!)
- Learn our spellings
- Try our best.
PE
Please can your child bring their P.E. kit on a Monday and take it home with them on a Friday. Children will be asked to change for P.E. independently.
Tips and Tricks
Phonics
We follow the Little Wandle phonics scheme. We follow this across the school also using it within our spelling and handwriting development. I have attached some useful documents to help your child in further developing their skills!
